The SBA is not a lender, but rather guarantees small business loans offered by traditional lenders like participating banks and credit unions to encourage lending to small businesses across the country.
For established businesses with annual sales of $150,000 or more, SmartBiz and Funding Circle offer good financing options. You’ll get lower APRs with SmartBiz, which offers SBA loans, but Funding Circle has a less rigorous and shorter application process.
